1. The right technique

For the second coat, do not add another drop of nail polish. Simply spread the brush and gently pass it vertically over the nail.

This second recommendation can be a great addition to the first, in case you are still learning. It consists of applying petroleum jelly to the edges of the nail to prevent the varnish from sticking and staining your fingers.

It is a product often used by professional manicurists. However, you can perfectly well get one to use at home to varnish your nails and not stain your skin.

Basically what latex does is create a thin layer on the skin that prevents the varnish from sticking. Then, after varnishing the nails, the excess can be easily removed in seconds.

4. Homemade preparation

All you need is water, liquid glue, acetone, and an empty polish bottle.

First, pour the glue into the bottle, along with a little acetone. Then add a few tablespoons of water. The whole should not be too runny because this mixture should have a certain hold on the nail.

Using this preparation before applying the varnish will allow you to prevent the latter from sticking to your nails. As you can see, with just a few ingredients you can save yourself the stains on your fingers.

5. Glue

The glue that stuck so much on your hands at school can replace the previous products: how? Apply it to your fingers, let it dry and then apply the varnish to your nails without staining your fingers: it’s a practical and effective solution!
